Terms of Service – The Crochet Community

1. Introduction & General Terms Welcome to The Crochet Community. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our membership platform, whether accessed via our website or our mobile application. By enrolling in our membership, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Company Details: The Crochet Community is operated by Bella Coco Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company Registration: 9990941). Our registered office is 6 Clinton Avenue, Nottingham, England, NG5 1AW. VAT number: 245990767.
Privacy & Data: Your submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, ensuring compliance with UK and international data protection regulations.

2. Digital Content and Right of Withdrawal Waiver As a member, you gain immediate access to exclusive, copyrighted digital content and community features.

Statutory Waiver: Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you acknowledge and agree that by requesting immediate access to our digital content upon purchase, you expressly waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period).
Refunds: Due to the instant-access nature of the membership and its digital resources, all subscription payments are final and non-refundable. We are also unable to issue refunds for digital downloads of Bella Coco patterns or resources purchased separately that are also included as part of The Crochet Community membership.

3. Account Security and Prohibited Sharing Your membership is strictly for your individual, personal use.

Account Sharing: You agree not to share your login credentials, passwords, or account access with any third party.
Our systems monitor for simultaneous logins and unusual activity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership immediately, without refund, if we determine that your account is being shared.

4. Intellectual Property and Licensing All patterns, videos, tutorials, and materials provided within The Crochet Community are the exclusive property of Bella Coco Ltd or the respective guest designer and are protected by copyright law.

Limited License: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the patterns and materials for personal use only. Download limits may be enforced to prevent systemic abuse.
Prohibited Distribution: You strictly agree not to share, distribute, copy, or sell any of our patterns, designs, or materials to anyone else. This prohibits sharing our content on other websites, social media platforms, via email, or through any printed means. You may not use our intellectual property for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. You may use the content to create physical crocheted items and you may sell those items. Mass production is not permitted.

5. Community Conduct and User-Generated Content The Crochet Community is designed to be a supportive and positive environment.

Code of Conduct: You agree to interact respectfully with Sarah-Jayne, the team, and fellow members. Harassment, abusive language, spam, or self-promotion is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your membership without refund.
Your Content: When you post comments, photos of your crochet projects, or other materials to our forums and platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and share that content within the community. You confirm that you own the rights to any images or content you upload and that they do not infringe on the intellectual property of others.

6. Billing, Auto-Renewal, and Price Promise By signing up, you are entering a rolling membership.

Auto-Renewal: Your monthly or annual subscription will automatically renew, and your payment method will be charged at the start of each new billing cycle until you cancel.
Price Promise:
When you join as a member, the price will remain the same for you regardless of any price increases for the same membership plan, provided you maintain an active membership.
Rejoining After Cancellation: If you cancel your membership and wish to rejoin after 30 days have passed since you cancelled, you will lose access to the previous lower price and will be subject to the current market rate for new members.

7. Cancellation Policy You are not locked into a contract and may cancel your rolling membership at any time to prevent future billing.

How to Cancel: You can cancel your membership via the website, mobile app or via email.
- Website: On the left-hand menu, expand the “Plus” section and click “Account Settings”. On the new menu that appears, click “Cancel Membership” and follow the steps to submit your cancellation.
- Mobile App: On the home screen of the mobile app, scroll to the bottom and tap “Account Settings”. On the new menu that appears, select “Cancel Membership” and follow the steps to submit your cancellation.
- Email: Send an email to help@bellacococrochet.com from the email address registered to your membership clearly stating that you wish to cancel.
Notice Period: You must provide us with at least 10 working days’ notice before your next scheduled payment date to ensure you are not billed for the following cycle.
Post-Cancellation Access: Upon successful cancellation, you will retain access to The Crochet Community until the end of your current paid billing cycle. Once the cycle ends, your access to the platform and its exclusive patterns will be revoked.

8. Platform Availability & Disclaimers We strive to keep the platform accessible at all times, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime.

Maintenance: The platform (both website and app) may occasionally be temporarily unavailable for scheduled maintenance, plugin updates, or technical issues.
“As Is” Basis: All patterns, community features, and materials are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the materials will be completely error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Bella Coco Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the platform, patterns, or materials provided. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your membership shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription billing cycle.

10. Governing Law These Terms of Service, and any disputes arising from your membership, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. However, if you are a consumer residing outside of the UK, this provision does not deprive you of the mandatory consumer protections provided by the laws of your country of residence.

11. Right to Terminate We reserve the right to terminate your membership and revoke platform access at any time, without notice or refund, if we reasonably suspect you have violated any of these Terms of Service.
